Rotary interact club childrens of Vasavi school visited Sharanya Care Centre on 30.08.2023 to tie RakshaBhandan to all inmates patients of Sharanya and to all staff and patient attenders of Sharanya. The students made aarathi to all patients, wished them for speedy recovery and distributed sweets to everyone on the occation.
Students went round Lakshmi Devine Park, saw all the plants and garden off different trees and enjoyed the nature.
The secretory and trust committee members of Vasavi vidyalaya were present on the occation.
Anganwadi event
Community Activity from Sharanya – DSL Trust (R) Shimoga :- An Anganavadi School is situated at Gajanur Agrahara of Gajanur, Shimoga District is functioning well with conducting pre-nursery school and Anganavadi activities of villege development. A stainless steel utensill stand which is required for their bonified use is being donated by DSL Trust(R) – Sharanya on 31.08.2023. The teachers, Childerns and officials were very happy to receive the above article and wished the Sharanya Service to needy patients.
Navodaya School children visit
School Childerns Visited Sharanya : School childrens of NAVODAYA SCHOOL visited Sharanya care centre on Monday the 4th September 2023. A strength of approximately 140 children’s made on knowledge programme on plants and trees of different family and understood about its growth, leaves, bud and root. they also visited Lakshmi Divine Park and had a knowledge of Solar system and its representation by different trees and plants of its repective stars, raashis and graha’s. Childres were very much exeiting in knowing the solar system with nature. Lastly they visited patient wards and prayed for patients well being in Sharanya and to get well soon. At the end they were served with snacks and tea to dispence them to the school.

Rotary Club Family Meet at SHARANYA Care Centre
Rotary Club Shimoga member’s and their Family gathered at Sharanya Care Centre at 7.00 P.M on Wednesday the 27.12.2023 on the eve of club family meet. A vedio presentation is given for the on invited member’s regarding Sharanya Service and its activities. Dr.Shivakumar of Max Hospital gave a special talk on pain management and palliative care procedures. This was a very informative and educational talk. Rotary Club had arranged a dinner on the eve of family meet.
The total function went very smoothy and participations of member’s was present. The president Senthil Velan and Secretory Sri Ravi Patil were falicitated from Sharanya Trust.

Shimoga Town Railway Station is a prominent station in the part of Malenadu Region. There was a need of wheel chair to serve the needy people of passenger’s. knowing the need SHARANYA responded immediately and donated a wheel chair for the purpose. Trust president T.R.Ashwathanarayan Setty and all committee member’s, and railway station Supt. Sri Balasubramanysm,and commercial Manager Sri Manjunath, many officials present on the occation on 31.12.2023.

Visit of Rotary International Technical Advisor Mr. Alian B Malaysia.
International Rotary Technical Advisor Mr. Alain B Malaysia made a visit to Sharanya Care Centre on Friday the 19th January 2024. He has accomplished by Rotary Past President Mr.N.V Bhat and President Mr. Senthil Velan. Our Secretory Sri D.L Manjunath and other member’s receivedthe guest and shown all the Global Grant Mateirals and Equipments received under Global Grant Scheme during 2017.The above officers work satisfied for proper utilisation of the Grant Materials to be needy patients at Sharanya. They went round wards of patients, Laxmi Divine Park and the new building getting constructed for chronic patients. They were very happy the procedure and the were in which Sharanya operating to be benifits of needy patients at advanced stage of their diseases.
