Shimoga.A.26: The District Collector said that the work of Sharanya Institute which is providing necessary facilities along with serving the patients suffering from health problems is commendable. R. Selvamani said. While participating in the inauguration ceremony of the renovated temple of Shri Mate Choudeswari and Shri Bhuteswara Gods organized by DSL Trust’s Sharanya Care Center at Gajanur Agrahara in Shivamogga taluk, he said that the Sharanya organization is giving a good message to the society by carrying out special work on a humanitarian basis.

School Childerns Visited Sharanya : School childrens of NAVODAYA SCHOOL visited Sharanya care centre on Monday the 4th September 2023. A strength of approximately 140 children’s made on knowledge programme on plants and trees of different family and understood about its growth, leaves, bud and root. they also visited Lakshmi Divine Park and had a knowledge of Solar system and its representation by different trees and plants of its repective stars, raashis and graha’s. Childres were very much exeiting in knowing the solar system with nature. Lastly they visited patient wards and prayed for patients well being in Sharanya and to get well soon. At the end they were served with snacks and tea to dispence them to the school.

Community Activity from Sharanya – DSL Trust (R) Shimoga :- An Anganavadi School is situated at Gajanur Agrahara of Gajanur, Shimoga District is functioning well with conducting pre-nursery school and Anganavadi activities of villege development. A stainless steel utensill stand which is required for their bonified use is being donated by DSL Trust(R) – Sharanya on 31.08.2023. The teachers, Childerns and officials were very happy to receive the above article and wished the Sharanya Service to needy patients.

Rotary Interact Club Children’s at SHARANYA CARE CENTRE

Rotary interact club childrens of Vasavi school visited Sharanya Care Centre on 30.08.2023 to tie RakshaBhandan to all inmates patients of Sharanya and to all staff and patient attenders of Sharanya. The students made aarathi to all patients, wished them for speedy recovery and distributed sweets to everyone on the occation.
Students went round Lakshmi Devine Park, saw all the plants and garden off different trees and enjoyed the nature.
The secretory and trust committee members of Vasavi vidyalaya were present on the occation.

Nirmala Thunga Abhiyana

Nirmala Thunga Abhiyana : Sharanya commitee participated in the move organised by enviornmentalist and public of Shimoga for saving Thunga River by polutions. It was a big procession and awareness campaighn to bring knowledge above how Thunga River is also becoming poluted for this great move D.S.L Trust (Sharanya) Participated and also provided morning breakfast at Sharanya care centre for a gathering of 600 participant.This is being carried on 21.01.2023.

SHARANYA care centre celebrated the above auspicious day in a very memorable programs.

At 9.00AM Flag hoisting done by Sri Nagaraja, President of Mandal Panchayath Gajanur. National Anthem was sung after Flag hoisting and sweets distributed after the programme. Many of our committee member’s, Dr. Jagannath Dixith, Senior Surgeon of Oncology at H.C.G group of Hospital, Dr. Thanaji, Medical Officer, Patients and the attenders, invities were present on the occation. Patients Kits were distributed to Sharanya. ( In-patients having Patients usable items like Towel, Buiscuits, Water Bottle, Tooth Paste, Brush, Soap, Fruit and Chocolate have been put in the kit.

An eye check up camp was conducted on the day at 10.00 AM onwords to the village people of Gajanur and Surrounding.

At 4.00PM 200 patients Kit were distributed to the in patients of Mcgann Hospital of Shimoga. Sri D.S Arun M.L.C of Shimoga, Mcgann hospital medical superintendent Dr.Thimmappa, Trust President Sri T.R Aswathnarayan Setty, Cloth merchant association President and Members, Sharanya Committee Members were present on the occation and distributed the kits.

A Report of Inaugural Programme of LAKSHMI DEVINE PARK

A unique plantation park is developed in Sharanya Care Centre showing all 27 stars, 12 Rashi’s and 9 Grahas in one circular cosmic world. Each one is planted repective plants in the specified direction and angle of rotation. This park is named as LAKSHMI DEVINE PARK sponsored by LAKSHMI IMPLIMENTS OF SHORANUR.

SHARANYA is a care centre for advanced and terminally ill patients suffering from different disease like cancer, fully paralyzed and neuro related problems.

Now LAKSHMI DEVINE PARK is fully planted with respect plants and trees, saplings. Pathway is made with pavers and curb stones. So that a pradakshina can be made do all stars, rashi and grahas.

This LAKSHMI DEVINE PARK is inaugurated by his holiness Jagadguru Sri Sri Vidhushekara Bharathi Swamiji of Shringeri Sansthan onFriday the 25th Nov 2022.

Swamijee went round the park, saw the holy design made for whole planet, patients wards to bless patients and saw the Sharanya’s activity of serving such patients. Poojya swamijee expressed his happiness and concern of serving such patients and told that this is a godly work. All the people who are involved in this service are very much affectionate people to lord Krishna.

Swamijee conveyed his blessing talk to the gathering and gave phala manthrakshathe to all devotees. All trust members and their families, near by village people, grama panchayath members and well wishers of sharanya were present on the occation. The function was very much spiritual and realistic.

Inauguration of Meditation Pond

Sharanya is a pain and palliative care centre for advanced and terminal patients suffering from different chronic diseases.

In the whole care practice spiritual programme in also a part of palliative care. It is to surrender to almighty god and pray for pain free, comfortable days of remaining journey. In view of the above a well built, furnished meditation hall is to be constructed in the water pond, developed in front of the main block.

As the land gradiant is naturally at very much lower level, and putting a bond made, down water of rain fall stored is the area, which formed a pond. Putting bond on all the four sides has come out as a beautiful water pond.The future idea is to construct a meditation hall in the pond providing a walkway from the road side.

This pond is being inaugurated by Sri Sri DR. D. Veerendra Heggade, Dharmadhikari of Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala on Wednesday the 21.06.2023.

Our beloved Hon. President Sri D. H Shankaramurthy Sir, Chief guest Sri D.S. Arun M.L.C and Sri Araga Gnanendra M.L.A, President Sri T.R. Ashwathnarayan were present the accation.

All our trust member’s, special invitees and guests were present on the occation. DR. Veerendra Heggade Sir appreciated the good work done by the trust to the society for the needy patients at no expectation from the beneficiary (Freely). He also told a story of Mahabharath of Getting double charity gift from the god as this service is eligible to get double gift.

The inauguration function was very memorable and blessings of Holly Sri DR. Veerendra Heggade is an additional mileage for the trust’s service to humanity.

Lakshmi Divine Park ( STARS,ZODIAC, and PLANETS GARDEN)

The whole universe is balanced by NATURE. Nature consists of stars, 12 Zodiac (Rashis) and 9 Grahas (Planets).
These are individually identified by different trees, colour, and praying methods. It is also true that the nature is balanced by trees, plants, river, mountains and its existence. In view of the above philosophy a unique Garden of STARS, Rashi’s and Planets is being developed by planting respective tree plants of individual and named it as LAKSHMI DIVINE PARK. Recently on 25.11.2022 Jagadguru Sri Sri Vidhushekara Bharathi Swamijee of Sharadapeetam Shringeri Inagurated the Divine Park and graced the accation. This is one place where all the these are located in one platform with Natural Plants and Trees. It is created in an area of 40,000 square feet land. It is a Very rare and unique to see and perform pooja to individual stars and Rashi of Yours.
